As Mother’s Day approaches, I figure it’s important to shout out the woman who birthed this rather magnificent misfit.
I admire my mother’s accomplishments and her unbreakable spirit. I’ve laughed with her and cried with her. Laughed at her and cried for her. We’ve battled with each other and embraced each other. Through my ups, downs and everything in between she has stood firm as an unchanging force in my life. I am grateful for her and to her for all that she has done and sacrificed for our family, the things that I know about and the things that I have yet to learn.
They say that people can fall in love many times in a lifetime, but only get one soulmate. And I know for sure that my momma (my Jacci) is my soul’s mate...
