Being a Black American has meant so many things throughout history. I am blessed and honored to be who I am at this very pivotal time in American history... in Black American history. I know we still have a long, long way to go, but I'm so very proud to be a part of a people who have struggled, fought and triumphed so consistently.
I'm proud of Black America, and this year I'm not only celebrating Black History; I'm celebrating our future.
